The hybrid app uses the FT’s award-winning (HTML5) Web App inside a native shell, which allows improved video streaming and more options for content sharing. The app provides a richer and more seamless reading experience, with new time-saving features like push notifications coming later this year.
The FT also has a number of specialised native iOS apps, including How To Spend It and Investors Chronicle.
Remember to delete our old web app from your home screen, as this will stop being supported shortly.
